IISL President at European Interparliamentary Space Conference 2022 presenting Astronaut Maurer’s ISS message on the Importance of Space Law
16 September 2022 -- IISL President Kai-Uwe Schrogl took part in the European Interparliamentary Space Conference 2022, which was held in Paris on 15 and 16 September 2022 — just before the takeoff of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2022 taking place from 18-22 September.
He presented the video message from ESA’s astronaut Matthias Maurer entitled ‘The importance of space law‘. Astronaut Maurer had recorded the message, addressed to IISL and ECSL, earlier in 2022 inflight from the ISS. The video message is available below.
