The Knowledge Constellation Team

Since 2021, the International Institute of Space Law is lucky to have gathered incredible people who have coordinated the project. Zero budget projects are always challenging. The only way to get the right people onboard and retain them is their genuine interest in the project and alignment of their own values and visions with the cause it pursues.

Volunteers have supported the IISL in bringing to life the KC concept you see now, among them, Teja Dobnik and Nikoleta Vasileva received the IISL Certificate of Gratitude for their hard work and wonderful organizational skills, together with Chiara Schmitz. Claudiu Mihai Tăiatu, as the Scientific Adviser and Content Manager of the project has built the categories and contributed to coordinate with authors. Wendy Mensink, Global Strategic Brand and Visual Identity Manager, designed the logo and developed the Knowledge Constellation’s visual identity. Olga Stelmakh-Drescher, Scarlet O’Donnell and Laetitia have piloted the project and built the web platform.

Our team hopes to make the IISL KC a benchmark Space Law project with its platform for exchange of Space Law knowledge. With YOUR contributions to our platform, we hope to significantly create value for the international space law community.

The IISL Space Law Knowledge Constellation covers a realm of space law, policy and diplomacy, with the aim to have almost an entire body of related knowledge online, available to everyone anytime, anywhere, and at no cost.

Contributions for the items’ content are to be submitted by the IISL Members only. There will be one Framework submission per item by either IISL Board Member, or IISL Member who is identified as an expert in related to the item field. They will be defined and approached by the Executive Team will request to submit the Framework contribution.

We tailored this initiative to be open – where all IISL members are granted equal opportunities to contribute as authors and whose submissions are appreciated with equal respect. This is our way to pay forward to the IISL community.

The IISL Knowledge Constellation platform can only advance and expand through the contributions of brilliant minds from around the world. Become a part of the change and share your knowledge, engage with one another, get to know the way others reason, and help reduce the gap in accessing the interconnected knowledge within space law.

.The views and opinions expressed in each contribution are those of the respective authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the IISL.
