The 2024 IISL Elections take place between 15 June and 15 July 2024.

Factors to consider
In accordance with the IISL Bylaws, you are encouraged to consider the following factors for your vote:
- The competence and professional reputation of the candidate;
- The need for representation from different regions of the world;
- The need for rotation in the IISL Board as well as for continuity.
Voting period and process
The voting period opens on 15 June 2024 and closes on 15 July 2024 23:59 h CET.
This year, there is one open Vice-President position and nine open IISL Directors positions. IISL members have each one vote for the Vice-President position and nine votes for Director positions:
- Vice-President: one vacant position, one candidate. Voting is possible either in support of the candidate or n/a.
- Directors: nine vacant positions, fifteen candidates. IISL members can vote for nine out of the fifteen candidates via the link below (voting form).

Each IISL member in good standing can only take part in the voting process one time for the 2024 IISL elections. During the voting process, you will be asked your name and email address - this is to ensure members' eligibility for the elections.
You will have to confirm your votes separately - once in the Vice-President poll and once in the Directors poll.
Please note that it may take up to 7 days for you to receive a confirmation email. You will receive two separate confirmation emails - one for the Vice-President poll and one for the Directors poll. Kindly ensure that if you have taken part in both polls, you receive both confirmations within 7 days.

The IISL Elections are anonymous and your votes will be handed on to the Elections Committee anonymously.
Prospective IISL members cannot take part in the voting process.

The results of the 2024 IISL elections will be communicated by the IISL Election Committee pursuant to the IISL Statutes.
